"I get sick every time you come around. Then I get sick when you leave. You're like a disease to me." - May
SYNOPSIS:
May is hiding out at an old motel in the Mojave Desert. An old flame and childhood friend, Eddie finds her there. He threatens to metaphorically and at times, literally, drag her back into the life she had fled from. Through searing truth and dark humour, Fool for Love shows the story of two people who just can't live without each other whether they like it or not. As with most Shepard plays reality and dream; truth and lies; past and present mingle in an explosive, emotional experience.
As per the authors request this play will be "performed relentlessly without a break."
