Rich Ferraioli is a graduate of Hofstra University with a BFA in theatrical production with an emphasis on directing. Rich has directed over 25 productions professionally ranging from classics like Hamlet, Spanish Tragedie, and Everyman: An All Female Exploration to the NYC Fringe Festival’s production of Daily Sounds. Rich was a proud member of the 2008 Lincoln Center Directors lab and has served as the Managing Director for The Queens Players since 2007. Originally from the farmlands of Pennsylvania, Rich now resides with his scenic artist wife Stephanie and their monster Izzy in Long Island City, NY
Kirk Gostkowski, Associate Artistic Director, is the founder of the independent film production company Running on Faith Productions. Kirk recently made his directorial debut with the film Leave Me Behind, which was featured in ten film festivals across the world, won awards, and just received a distribution deal. Writing, directing, and acting in the film was a dream come true. Kirk is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree focused in performance. While at Hofstra, Kirk also studied at the School for Film and Television in New York City. During his undergraduate years he had a large variety of training, working on plays ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary works. In his senior year at Hofstra he received the Acting Award for outstanding contributions to performance. Since graduation, Kirk has studied with Alec Baldwin in a master's class focused on professional theatre for several summers andhas appeared as an actor in a number of shows in New York. Kirk will next be appearing as Iago in Othello this March at the Secret Theatre in Long Island City and as one of the leads in the indie film The Ridley Project. Greg Cicchino, Community Outreach Director, graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in acting with an additional concentration in directing. While there, he was fortunate enough to work closely with Syracuse Stage (one of the only theater programs in the country that work in conjunction with a LORT Theater). He is trained both as a director and actor in many styles of theater, from ancient Greek through Shakespeare, to the clowning styles of Jacque Lecoq. Since moving to New York, his directing experience has run the gamut from contemporary dramas to classical pieces, as well as many musicals, both chamber and with large companies. Greg has worked in commercial theater at every level in New York, and extensively in the nonprofit arena. He has taken several shows through the reading and workshop stages into full development, the most successful being the musical The Unusual Suspects, at the New York International Fringe Festival, which was one of Backstage's Picks of the Fringe. Emily Anne Hammerman, Director of Theatrical Affairs, is a native New Yorker who graduated from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre from Playwrights Horizons Theater School. She has worked in all aspects of theatre including as an actor, director, producer, house manager and production manager. Favorites gigs include: Softy, Absinthe @ Spiegelworld, Slava's Snowshow on Broadway, What Use Are Flowers? and Cabaret on Strike! Emily is thrilled to embark on this journey from the ground up with Variations Theatre Group.
Kirsten Anderson, Literary Manager, is an actress and writer. She has a BA in English from Smith College and a MFA in Film Studies from Columbia University.
